The above pic I posted generated a lot of questions as to which specific hardware we use to download 4 Compact Flash cards at once.

First up: why would we even want to download 4 cards at once?

For a lot of reasons which include:

1. Simplicity. Large-capacity CF cards (currently 32GB cards) allow us to pretty much shoot an entire wedding without changing cards. This reduces the handling and potential loss/abuse of the cards.

2. Quin and I shoot with two cameras each. Instead of manually swapping cards to download one by one, sticking all 4 and letting her rip saves precious time and brain-space both of which are often in short supply after a shoot.
